Welcome to our  shop: ‘Tales on Market St.’ 

Tales on Market St. is an independent bookshop that grew from humble beginnings in our other shop ‘Top Hat & Tales’ formally known as ‘The Hat Shop’. Top Hat & Tales was previously located in West Street, Faversham but has now rejoined the bookshop in its new location at 1&2 Market Street, Faversham, ME13 7AH.  It continues to sell hats, clothing, accessories, and giftware. 

Tales on Market St. is situated right in the heart of Faversham and stands proudly on the corner of Market place & Market Street with a wonderful view of the Market place. As an independent bookshop we offer a curated selection of the best current titles in as many categories as we see a demand for. If you can’t find what you are looking for, we offer  a fantastically fast ordering service  and can normally source your book within 24hours  subject to availability.
